Greatest Feeling Ever

People are always quick to bash the goalie when they let up a goal.  It is one of the toughest positions in all of sports.  Goalies are very restricted.  They have a box where they can use their hands but once they leave that box, no hands allowed.  It is very hard to score in the EPL (English Premier League), let alone make a save.  Tim Howard, goaltender for Everton, just experienced one of the greatest feelings ever.

The soccer ball absolutely exploded off of Howard’s foot.  It was struck so hard it took a crazy bounce.  It looked as though the ball had some flubber on it.  Don’t try and pretend like you don’t remember Robin Williams’ blockbuster hit Flubber!!  You know the little green jello looking thing?  Whatever, the ball had to have some on it, because that bounce was ridiculous.

The young goalie for Bolton must have been feeling terrible.  You can’t let another goalie score on you from 100 yards away.  Come on now.  It’s bad enough the ginger looks like Ron Weasely from Harry Potter. He must have been distracted by Tim Howard’s camo he was wearing.  I swear, in the opening seconds of the video, I couldn’t see Howard.  He just disappeared.  I am not sure if I am disappointed or not that Howard didn't celebrate.  A part of me saw a class act another part of me is thinking that it is a once in a lifetime goal for him. CELEBRATE! I really just wish he did that more often in the World Cup.  Maybe the U.S. will make it past the first round!
