Here we go again. #1 LSU takes on #2 Alabama for the 2012 BCS National Championship Title. After a lot of disbelief of whether these two teams will meet again after their first game, we find ourselves anticipating the outcome of this game.
The first time these teams met, everyone was expecting a high scoring battle. There was supposed to be a great offensive display. However, we got just the opposite. The game ended in overtime like many thought it would, but the score was only 9-6 LSU. Alabama seemed to be in control for most of the game, but a couple missed field goals turned out to be the difference. Just because it wasn’t high scoring does not mean that it was not enjoyable to watch. It was a great game. I just think we were all expecting at least one touchdown.
LSU has an edge in this game. The title game is being held in Louisiana. There should be more LSU fans than Alabama since the game is in their home area. But I think Nick Saban and the Tide are going to get some revenge. I thought Alabama was going to win their first meeting. They definitely had chances. They just failed to capitalize.
I expect this game to be similar to the first; however I think and hope that there will be more than one touchdown scored in this game. Watch out for Trent Richardson to have a big game for Alabama. I am picking Alabama to take down #1 LSU and claim another National Championship. Roll Tide Roll!
The game airs tonight, 8:30 P.M. EST on ESPN. Enjoy the game
