So Are We Done Now?

Last week, Tim Tebow made his first NFL start this season against the Miami Dolphins.  The media had a field day with this.  For some reason, the media is in so much love with Tebow.  He came back late in the 4th Qtr. to rally the Broncos passed the Dolphins who are still yet to win a game.  After the win, Tebow was praised for his mediocre performance against a very bad team.  This week, Tebow and the Broncos took on the Detroit Lions.  This did not go the way everyone wanted.

It was all Lions today.  The final score was 45-10, dropping the Broncos to 2-5 on the year.  Tebow, in the end, had an awful game but will somehow get praised tomorrow on Sports Center.  He went 18 for 39 for 172 and a passing TD.  He also had 68 yards rushing.  Here is where things take a turn for the worst.  Tebow racked up one interception and three fumbles!  Although he only lost one fumble, he still fumbled three times.  Obviously it is not only Tebow's fault that the team lost, but I am tired of all the attention he is getting and he hasn't proved himself.  I was a fan when he was in college, but not so much now.

I do like Tebow, I just want him to win a tough game.  All he has shown he can do in the NFL is run.  He hasn't had much experience yet which is understandable.  The worst thing is that the media is crazy about him.  All I ask of NFL analyst and TV and radio hosts is that they wait until he proves himself.  So far the only thing Tebow has given us is "Tebowing".
