Shut Up Rex!

When is Rex going to learn?  The usual Rex Ryan smack talk came about during an interview this week.  He was asked about his counterpart, Norv Turner head coach of the San Diego Chargers, and about how in 2007 he was interviewed for the same coaching job but did not get it.  He said that if he was the coach of the Chargers he would have had a couple of rings by now.  He was also quoted as saying "those teams were loaded."  After the interview was over, Rex called Turner and apologized before Norv got the chance to hear it.  In a press conference after Norv Turner stated "I was just wondering if he had those rings with the ones he's guaranteed the last couple of years."

I am starting to really get annoyed whenever Rex Ryan is in the news.  I am beginning to think that Jets fans don't even like how much attention he is getting instead of his team.  It is okay to be confident and outspoken but come n now, this is ridiculous.  in the interview, Rex not only knocked Norv Turner but he also knocked himself and the Jets.  He basically said that the Jets were not stacked and that he would have been more successful with the Chargers.  Not only has Rex found himself 0-2 in his super Bowl predictions, his team this season is having some difficulties finding themselves with a 3-3 record. 

Norv turner's comments were great.  He threw it right back in Rex's face.  Norv Turner is one of the last guys you would see criticizing another coach but it was his only choice.  We already had enough drama between coaches this week between Jim Harbaugh and Jim Schwartz.  This trash talk by Rex is not only annoying but very unnecessary.  Just go out there and let your team play.  instead of making a fool of himself during interviews he should probably focus on winning some games; he does have a Super Bowl to win.
